Underwater enclosure technology are lighter and more affordable than our deepwater aluminum housings, these pressure vessels are made from polyvinyl chloride, a plastic that can be utilized for subsea applications as junction boxes, electrical instrumentation housings, sensor battery enclosures, aerospace casings or chemical/biological containment. This product comes in a variety of various wall thicknesses and diameters, hence the pressure limitations are different for each selection. Please refer to our pressure ratings associated with each size for approved depths.
These underwater enclosure made plastic housings do not corrode, rust, pit and require no galvanic corrosion protection. Strength does not weaken with exposure to uv radiation, and is more affordable than other materials.
There is a large variety of sizes to select from up too 22.5” (573mm) in inner diameter. Interface and assembly drawings are always provided for your approval of the enclosure ( ie enclosure configuration, hole patterning, hole sizes, hole thread detail, internal bracketing, bulkhead clearances, and hole geometric dimensioning and tolerances ).
